2nd-level School of Mythology feature

You’re able to channel your magic to bolster your understanding. When you make an Intelligence (Arcana), Intelligence (History), Intelligence (Nature), or Intelligence (Religion) check, you can expend a spell slot to add to your roll, after the roll is made but before the result of the check is known. You can add 1d8 for a 1st-level spell slot, plus 1d8 for each spell level higher than 1st, to a maximum of 5d8.

You add the identify spell to your spellbook if it is not there already, and you can cast it once per short rest without using a spell slot or material components.
